Function of radiator fan relay K67

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature switch S88 and bridge contacts 1 and 3.

·   Ignition on

Radiator fan motor M35 starts opera - ting.

·   Test step only if function is not OK.

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature switch S88 and bridge contacts 1 and 3.

·   Ignition on

·   As above, except without bridge in wiring harness plug of S88.

Possible cause of fault, trouble - shooting:

1.    Fuse F15 defective.

2.    Fuse F42 defective.

3.    Coolant temperature switch S88 defective (see S88).

4.    Lead interruption between K67 / Ter. (4) and fuse output F42.

5.    Lead interruption between K67 / Ter. (2) and fuse output F15.

6.    Lead interruption between K67 / Ter. (8) and radiator fan motor M35 / lead RTWS.

7.    Lead interruption between K67 / Ter. (6) and coolant temperature switch S88 / Ter. (3).
