Radiator fan motor M35

 

 

·  Check function of motor M35: Disconnect wiring harness plug from motor M35.

·   Connect motor M35 externally to battery positive terminal and ground.

·   If motor M35 does not operate, M35 is defective.

Motor M35 starts operating.

 

 

Possible cause of fault, trouble - shooting:

 

1.    Actuation and operation of radiator fan motor M35: see accompanying function table. This table can be used to simulate actuation of M35. For this, remove the relevant wiring harness plug from each switch and replace the break contact or make contact with bridges.

2.    Fuse F52 defective.

3.    Fuse F42 defective.

4.    Radiator fan series resistor R19 (see R19).

5.    Radiator fan relay K26 defective (see K26).

6.    Radiator fan relay K67 defective (see K67).

7.    Lead interruption between M35 / lead RTWS and radiator fan relay K67 / Ter. (8).

8.    Lead interruption between M35 / lead RTWS and radiator fan series resistor R19 / lead RTWS.

9.    Lead interruption between M35 / lead BR and ground.

10.  Lead interruption between radiator fan series resistor R19 / lead RTBL and radiator fan relay K26 / Ter. 5.
