Voltage supply and function, radiator fan series resistor R19

·  Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature switch S88 and bridge contacts 1 and 2 in wiring harness plug.

·   Ignition off.

Radiator fan motor M35 starts operating at half power.

Ohmmeter range 200 W

K26 / Ter. (5)

Ground

·   Ignition off

·   Remove coolant pump relay K22..

»1.0-3.5 W

Possible cause of fault, trouble - shooting:

1.    Fuse F52 defective.

2.    Radiator fan motor M35 defective (see M35).

3.    Radiator fan relay K26 defective (see K26).

4.    Lead interruption between R19 / lead RTWS and radiator fan motor M35 / lead RTWS.

5.    Lead interruption between R19 / lead RTBL and radiator fan relay K26 / Ter. (5).
