Remove ribbed V-belt tension roller – see operation "Ribbed V-belt Tension Roller, Remove and Install".

Remove fastening bolts (1) and (2) from power steering pump and suspend power steering pump at suitable point.

Remove fastening bolt (3) from auxiliary units support.

Detach compressor fastening bolts (4) from auxiliary units support.

Detach wiring harness plug (5) from compressor.

Remove fastening bolts (1) from compressor and fastening bolt (2) from cylinder block. Remove bracket downwards.

Remove front fastening bolt (3) from compressor.

Caution

When lowering compressor ensure that the refrigerant lines are not stressed – support or suspend compressor.

Remove fastening nut (1) from engine damping block.

Suspend engine on engine bridge MKM-883-1 in combination with securing hook MKM-833-4-A and lift engine.

Remove engine bracket from cylinder block. Remove oil dipstick.

Detach auxiliary units support (2) from cylinder block and remove downwards.

  Install

Connect auxiliary component main bracket to cylinder block – tightening torque 35 Nm / 25.8 lbf. ft.

Insert oil dipstick.

Attach engine bracket to cylinder block – tightening torque 60 Nm / 44 lbf. ft.

Attach engine damping block to engine bracket – tightening torque 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft.

Attach front fastening bolts (1) for compressor to auxiliary units support – tightening torque 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft. Attach rear fastening bolts (2) to compressor bracket – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. Attach compressor bracket to cylinder block and auxiliary units support using fastening bolts (3) – tightening torque 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft.

Attach wiring harness plug to compressor. Attach fastening bolt (5) to support – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. Fastening bolts (4) to power steering pump – tightening torque 25 Nm / 18.5 lbf. ft.

Install ribbed V-belt tension roller – see operation "Ribbed V-belt Tension Roller, Remove and Install".
