Caution

Fuel escapes, observe safety regulations and national legislation. Depressurise fuel using Fuel Pressure Gauge KM-J-34730-91 via test connection (1) – collect escaping fuel in suitable container.

  Remove

Detach vacuum hose (2) and fastening clamp from fuel pressure regulator (3) and carefully remove fuel pressure regulator from fuel distributor pipe – ensure utmost cleanliness.

Caution

Damaged seal rings must be replaced.

Note:  

Pos. 1 = fuel return.

Pos. 2 = fuel feed.

  Install

Coat seal rings lightly with silicone grease (white) prior to assembly.

Insert fuel pressure regulator (4) in fuel distributor pipe – ensure utmost cleanliness.

Attach fuel pressure regulator to fuel distributor pipe with fastening clamp.

Connect vacuum hose (3) to fuel pressure regulator.
