Intake Flange, Remove and Install
Remove
Remove intake bridge – see operation "Intake Bridge, Remove and Install".
Remove intake flange (1) from cylinder heads (12 fastening bolts) in disassembly sequence, as illustrated below in J 0347.
Install
Attach intake flange to cylinder heads with new seal rings in assembly sequence shown – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
Install intake bridge – see operation "Intake Bridge, Remove and Install".
