(If nominal value is not attained)

MT vehicles only:

·   Ignition OFF

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug from DDE 2.1 control unit K70

·   Clutch actuated

·   Ignition ON

·   Using multimeter, measure voltage

from:  wiring harness plug for DDE 2.1 control unit K70 Ter. 28

to:      ground

lower than 0.1 V

·   Cruise control clutch switch S45 incorrectly adjusted

·   Short circuit to voltage

from:  wiring harness plug for DDE 2.1 control unit K70 Ter. 28

to:      wiring harness plug for cruise control clutch switch S45

·   Cruise control clutch switch S45 defective

·   Clutch not actuated

·   Using multimeter, measure voltage

from:  wiring harness plug for DDE 2.1 control unit K70 Ter. 28

to:      ground

greater than 11 V

·   Cruise control clutch switch S45 incorrectly adjusted

·   Short circuit to ground or circuit interruption

from:  wiring harness plug for DDE 2.1 control unit K70 Ter. 28

to:      wiring harness plug for cruise control clutch switch S45

·   Short circuit to ground

from:  wiring harness plug for cruise control clutch switch S45

to:      wiring harness plug for switch S1 Ter. 15

·   Cruise control clutch switch S45 defective

·   Fuse F15 defective

If nominal values are attained

·   DDE 2.1 control unit K70 defective
