Note:
Before performing this test, ensure that the signal input
at the ABS control unit from the "rear left" wheel speed sensor is
supplying plausible values, and that trouble codes 44 and 45 are not set in
the ABS-2SH. If the "rear left" wheel speed sensor does not supply
a signal or one of these trouble codes is stored, start trouble-shooting as
specified in the "Anti-lock Brake System ABS-2SH" Checking
Procedures.

· Ignition ON
· Using multimeter, measure voltage
from: wiring

to: ground
· Slowly turn rear left wheel

less than 1 V
greater than 8.5 V

If nominal value is attained:
· DDE 2.1 control unit K70 defective
|
|
Important:
If the rear wheel is turned too fast,
the following average value emerges

If nominal value is not attained:
· Perform next test

· Ignition OFF
· Disconnect wiring harness plug from
radio H1
· Ignition ON
· Using multimeter, measure voltage
from: wiring

· Radio H1 defective
