NO ENGINE RPM SIGNAL

·   Engine speed from start of injection sensor higher than 455 rpm

and

·   Engine speed from engine speed sensor lower than 68 rpm (circuit interruption)

·   Conditions must be fulfilled for at least 0.42 s

Replacement values:

·   Engine speed from start of injection sensor

Effects:

·   Maximum output is reduced.

·   The idle speed is increased to approx. 2000 rpm.

·   The exhaust gas recirculation valve is switched off.

·   If there is a failure at an engine speed below approx. 1800 rpm, the engine may stall

Note:

The driveability is compromised.
