INJ. TIMING OUT OF RANGE

·   Current start of injection value is lower than nominal start of injection value - 2 °CA

     or

·   Current start of injection value is higher than nominal start of injection value + 2 °CA

·   Conditions must be fulfilled for at least 21 s

Effects:

·  The injection quantity is reduced to 21 mg / stroke, i. e. maximum output is reduced.

·   The exhaust gas recirculation valve is switched off.

Note:

The current start of injection value is determined by the start of injection sensor, nominal start of injection value is calculated by the control unit.
