02 BLM RESET

Note:

In this mode, it is possible to reset the above mentioned engine learn parameters using the arrow keys, i. e. to set them to 128 steps.

The learn parameters indicate the short - term and long - term behaviour of the oxygen sensor control circuit. If a fault occurs in this circuit, these values taper off upwards or downwards.

If the fault in the oxygen sensor control circuit is eliminated in the workshop, the learn parameters return to the normal value of 128 steps. This process may however take several minutes.

02 BLM RESET

Note:

For this reason, it is possible to reset the parameters directly to the normal value of 128 steps using this TECH 1 mode. The engine should then still be run for some time to check that the oxygen sensor control circuit has been correctly repaired. The reset is triggered by the ARROW UP key. ]n addition, the various data list parameters can be displayed via the YES and NO keys. Key F9 can be used to store data as in the snapshot mode.
