As there is only one control unit type available for both the 20 SE engine (open loop oxygen sensor circuit) and the X 20 SE engine (closed loop oxygen sensor circuit), the control unit must be reprogrammed on installation. The programming specifies whether the engine is equipped with a closed loop or open loop oxygen sensor circuit. This programming should be performed with TECH 1 according to the following instructions.
