Note:
Via the 02 BLM IDLE THR., learned deviations from the ideal mixture
(e. g., caused by an air leak) are detected by the control unit and stored in
the permanent memory.
The learning process only occurs
when oxygen control is active and the engine is operating normally.
The 02 BLM IDLE THR. is effective in the entire characteristic
curve range, but predominantly in the lower engine speed range. The
correction values learned by the system are stored in a permanent memory and
are thus always available, even if the supply voltage has been cut off and
the engine has then been switched on again.
Using the 02 BLM IDLE THR., the values learnt by the
system can be evaluated.
To evaluate a deviation of the 02 BLM IDLE THR., the 02 INTEGRATOR must be observed.
If this is also outside the
tolerance range, a statement about the engine mixture condition can be made.
