·   Coolant temperature greater than 140 °C / 284 °F

     (Short circuit to ground)

 

Replacement values:

·   81 °C / 178 °F (X 25 XE) or 80 °C / 176 °F (X 30 XE) if intake air temperature higher than 0.4 °C / 32.7 °F

·   Intake air temperature lower than 0.4 °C / 32.7 °F:

     for 180 s after engine start, intake air temperature is taken as a replacement value, then 81 °C / 178 °F (X 25 XE) or 80 °C / 176 °F (X 30 XE) again

 

Effects:

·   In general, the learn functions (oxygen sensor control, idle speed control and knock control) are blocked and the last valid values are used for calculation.
