Disconnect ground cable from battery. Remove water deflector
– see operation "Water Deflector, Remove and Install" in
group "A". Remove front windscreen wiper motor – see
operation "Windscreen Wiper Motor, Front, Remove and Install" in
group "N". Pull vacuum hose (1) from hose bend. Detach wiring
harness plug (2) from solenoid valve.
Disconnect vacuum hose from solenoid valve (3) and disconnect
solenoid valve from intake plenum.
Install
Attach solenoid valve to intake plenum – 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
Connect vacuum hoses to solenoid valve.
Install screen wiper motor – see operation "Screen Wiper
Motor, Front Screen, Remove and Install" in group "N".
Install water deflector – see operation "Water Deflector,
Remove and Install" in group "A". Connect ground cable to
battery.
