Vacuum Unit – Intake Plenum Switchover
Valve, Remove and Install

 Remove
Remove water deflector – see operation "Water Deflector,
Remove and Install" in group "A". Remove fastening bolt (arrow) for
engine vent adapter (1). Carefully raise engine vent adapter to
hose connections. For clearer representation, illustration E 4934
shows the vacuum unit with the intake plenum removed.

Detach ball socket (1). Unscrew 2 fastening bolts (arrows)
– remove vacuum unit.
Install
Attach vacuum unit to intake plenum, attach ball socket (1).
Fasten engine vent adapter. Install water deflector – see
operation "Water Deflector, Remove and Install" in group "A".
