· Coolant temperature greater than 30 °C / 86 °F

· Engine speed greater than 1984 rpm

· Knock sensor signal (noise value) less than 160 mV

     (short circuit to ground / voltage or circuit interruption)

· Conditions must be fulfilled for at least 1 s

Replacement values:

· The control unit retards the firing angle by 12 °CA for reasons of safety

Effects:

· The knock control is switched off
