With LHD vehicles: remove glove compartment – see operation "Glove Compartment, Remove and Install" in group "C".

For RHD vehicles: Remove footwell panelling on the driver's side (3 clips, 1 guide rail). Remove air duct (1 bolt).

All vehicles: Unscrew transmission control unit (recognisable by lettering: "Getriebesteuerung") from A-pillar (arrows) and remove carefully.

Release catch (1) for wiring harness plug from transmission control unit and disconnect wiring harness plug (2).

  Install

Connect wiring harness plug to transmission control unit and lock.

Install transmission control unit to A-pillar and fasten with nuts (arrows).

With LHD vehicles: install glove compartment – see operation "Glove Compartment, Remove and Install" in group "C".

For RHD vehicles: Install air duct (1 bolt) and footwell panelling (3 clips, guide rail).
