·   Final stage diagnosis in control unit

·   After the engine is started, the fault is recognised after 0.6 s while the TC is active (no pulse width modulated signal due to short circuit to ground).

Effects:

·  On fault recognition, the fault is stored and the traction control is switched off if the fault is also recognised by the engine control unit.
