Fuel tank float - Instrument does not indicate "Full Tank"

Instrument does not indicate "Full Tank".

 

Cause:

Fuel pipe is interfering with float arm and is jamming.

 

Production Solution:

Remedy:

Rotate suction pipe by 90° and fixe in position with hoseclamp.

 

 

Working procedure:

 

1.    Remove fuel tank cover

       -      see working procedure " Replace fuel tank sensor" unit "L" of Service Instruction Omega-B.

2.    Lift fuel tank cover and mark (2) position of the fuel pipe(3).

3.    Remove clamp (1) and replace with hose clamp.

4.    Bevor tightening the hose clamp, rotate fuel pipe by approximately 90° clockwise.

5.    Install fuel tank cover

       -      see working procedure " Replace fuel tank sensor" unit "L" of Service Instruction Omega-B.
