Service Maintenance Booklet and Inspection Brochure
The "Opel / Vauxhall Inspection System" also applies to the Omega - B. When the Omega - B is introduced, the new "Opel / Vauxhall Inspection System, Model Year 1994 1/2" brochure will be available for dealers.

Service maintenance booklet

Pre - delivery inspection
The following check points are not required for the Omega - B:
- Coolant level, check, correct. - Engine oil level, check, correct. - Octane number adjustment, check, set code (knock control). - Automatic / manual transmission fluid level, check, correct. - Headlamp adjustment, check, correct,
These check points are verified in production and therefore do not have to be checked in the pre - delivery inspection.
Replace batteries for infrared remote control
The Omega - E3 is the first model available with infrared remote control for switching on / off:
- central door locking system, - mechanical anti - theft device, - electronic immobiliser - and anti - theft warning system,
To ensure that functioning of the infrared remote control is guaranteed at all times, the batteries in the vehicle key must be replaced annually. This replacement must be recorded in the special stamp space at the end of the Service maintenance booklet, regardless of whether performed during the Annual Inspection or at any other time.
Change clean air filter for Omega - B
The Omega - B is also equipped with a clean air filter. The clean air filter must be changed annually, though earlier if 15, 000 km / 9, 000 miles have been covered.
Coolant change for 25 DT engine
In the 25 DT engine, the coolant must be changed every 4 years. This change must be recorded in the special stamp space at the end of the Service maintenance booklet, regardless of whether performed during the Annual Inspection or at any other time.
Brake fluid change
For the Omega - B, the brake fluid must only be changed every 2 years. This also applies to the Corsa - E3 (since Model Year 1993 112), Astra - F, Vectra / Cavalier and Calibra.
Check manual transmission fluid level
In the Omega - B, the manual transmission fluid level does not have to be checked. If there are leaks, he fluid level must be checked and the source of the leak eliminated. This also applies to the Corsa - B, Astra - F, Vectra / Cavalier and Calibra.
