Notes on Trouble-shooting:

Cause of Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

 
·   Using multimeter, measure voltage at battery

greater than 11 volts

 

·   Battery discharged

 

 

·   Battery has short circuit in a cell

 

 

·   Corroded battery terminals

 

 
·   Using multimeter, check fuse F15

lower than 1 W

·   Fuse F15 defective

 

 
·   Release and separate wiring harness plug K37 from CDLS control unit

 

 
·   Using multimeter, measure battery voltage

greater than 11 volts

·   Ground connection to control unit not okay K37 Ter. 19

 

 

·   Voltage supply to control unit interrupted K37 Ter. 11

 

 
If nominal values are attained:

 

·   Control unit  K37 defective
