Programming the Window Winder Electronics

After replacement, adjustment or function checks of the ECWW and/or reconnection of the battery, the window winder electronics of the ECWW must be reprogrammed:

·   After switching on the ignition, close the window completely by keeping the relevant rocker key pressed.

·   When the window is closed, keep the rocker key pressed for approx. 5 seconds longer.

The window winder electronics are now programmed.

Note:

If the window is already closed when programming commences, it is enough to press the rocker key for a period of approx. 5 seconds.

Important:

Before replacing a motor/electronics unit, check that the relevant sash window can move easily in its guide.

This is necessary if...

·   a window can only be opened or closed by pressing the rocker key constantly and programming is not possible,

·   the screen only moves jerkily by approx. 40 mm/1.5 in. despite constant actuation of the rocker key, or

·   the pinch guard does not react according to the function description.
