Front Frame, (Partial Replacement "Long" and "Short") Replace (Models F35, F19, F68)   Special economy parts are available for partial replacement. The "long" partial replacement is an additional operation to "Front - Upper, Replace Completely (Models F35, F19, F68)", "Wheel Well, Replace Completely (Models F35, F19, F68)".   Notice:  A new hydraulic modulator support bracket for the front left side member is featured as of the vehicles listed below. Aftersales supplies side members with hydraulic modulator support bracket in the delivery range.   For vehicles up to vehicle identification numbers     -  W 123 85 18   -  W 527 68 25   -  W 715 42 57     when replacing the left side member (1), drill off the hydraulic modulator support bracket (2) and weld on bracket (Part No. 90 495 911, Catalogue No. 52 12 531) in same position.

  Remove, Disconnect   

Attaching parts, separate front frame. Observe size of new part.  

1 =	Separation cut, "short" partial replacement
2 =	Separation cut, "long" partial replacement

Economy part has special section marks on the frame (side and lower).  

  Install, Connect   

Prepare and fit front frame. Use body straightening bench. Chamfer economy part (3) and remaining flange (4) at separation section (75 ± 5 ° ). Economy part "long" with welded reinforcement. Weld in front frame (butt-weld seam). Attaching parts, seal cavities.     Important!    Butt weld seam must not be smoothened.
