•  This trouble code can be deleted twice. Then trouble code 56 will be set.

•  Defective component:  
K31 Control Unit - Airbag  
 
 
 

E03  

•  Press corresponding key in the system main menu to call up Programming functions, select the desired test and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.  

 

Note:  

During programming, the control unit receives information about whether the vehicle is equipped with an airbag system with one squib circuit (driver only) or two squib circuits (driver and front passenger).  
 
 
 

E04  

•  Press corresponding key in the system main menu to call up Programming functions, select the desired test and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.
