Radiator, Remove and Install (Without Air Conditioning)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove lower coolant hose (3) from radiator - collect escaping coolant. Remove coolant hose (1) from radiator. Remove coolant hose (5) from retaining clips on radiator. Remove upper coolant hose (6) from radiator.   For version with automatic transmission: remove fluid cooler lines (2) and (4) from radiator - collect escaping transmission fluid and seal openings.   Disconnect wiring harness plug (8) from fan motor and wiring harness plug (7) from thermoswitch.   Remove radiator grille - see operation "Radiator Grille, Remove and Install" in group "A".   Detach air flow guides (left and right) from radiator and unclip power steering cooling coil out of bracket.   Remove retaining bracket from air deflector panel and carefully remove radiator with fan housing and fan motor upwards.   Transfer parts when replacing radiator.

  Install, Connect   

Carefully insert radiator with fan housing and fan motor into lower fixtures.  

Attach radiator with retaining brackets to air deflector panel.  

Secure air flow guides (left and right) to radiator.  

Install radiator grille - see operation "Radiator Grille, Remove and Install" in group "A".  

Connect wiring harness plug to fan motor and to thermoswitch.  

Connect coolant hoses to radiator.  

For version with automatic transmission: attach fluid cooler lines with new seal rings to radiator - tightening torque 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.  

  Inspect   

Top up cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".  

Check oil level in automatic transmission - see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct" in group "K".
