Solenoid Valve for Coolant Shut-Off Valve, Remove and Install > < Coolant Bridge, Remove and Install reinstallation

 

Coolant Shut-Off Valve, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove intake pipe (above cylinders 1-3-5) - see operation "Intake Pipe (above Cylinders 1-3-5), Remove and Install (X 25 XE)" or "Intake Pipe (above Cylinders 1-3-5), Remove and Install (Y 26 SE)".  

Release coolant connections (4) in direction of arrow and detach from heater core - collect escaping coolant.  

Release coolant connections (1) in direction of arrow and disconnect from adapter (2). Disconnect adapter from bracket and remove vacuum hose (3).  

Remove adapter with coolant shut-off valve.

Object Number: 616201  Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

Note installation position of coolant shut-off valve - arrow (1) on housing.  

Mark installation position of coolant hoses when removing coolant hoses from adapter or coolant cut-off valve - attach positioning marks if necessary (arrows).  

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

If removed: connect coolant hoses to coolant shut-off valve or adapter.  

Connect vacuum hose to coolant shut-off valve.  

Connect coolant shut-off valve with adapter to bracket and lock.  

Connect coolant connections to adapter.

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install intake pipe (above cylinders 1-3-5) - see operation "Intake Pipe (above Cylinders 1-3-5), Remove and Install (X 25 XE)" or "Intake Pipe (above Cylinders 1-3-5), Remove and Install (Y 26 SE)".  

Connect coolant connections to heater core and lock.  

Top up cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".
