Rear Engine Damping Block, Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove right axle shaft - see operation "Axle Shaft, Remove and Install" in group "E".   Remove front exhaust pipe.   Release clamp (1) from shift rod and disconnect shift guide from shift rod.   Attach engine to Engine Bridge MKM-883-1 and lift until rear engine damping block is relieved of its load - ensure that components are not damaged.   Remove fastening bolts (2) from front axle body.   Detach fastening bolts (4) from transmission and remove engine damping block with engine damping block bracket downwards.   Remove engine damping block bracket (3) from engine damping block.

  Install, Connect   

Attach engine damping block bracket to rear engine damping block - tightening torque 45 Nm / 33 lbf. ft.  

Mount and fasten engine damping block to front axle body - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.  

Attach engine damping block bracket to transmission - tightening torque 60 Nm / 44 lbf. ft.  

Release engine from Engine Bridge MKM-883-1 and remove engine bridge.  

Install shift guide on shift rod using clamps.  

Adjust transmission shift linkage - see operation "Transmission Shift Linkage, Adjust" in group "K".  

Connect front exhaust pipe to return manifold with new gasket and new fastening nuts - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.  

Connect front exhaust pipe to muffler - tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft.  

Install right axle shaft - see operation "Axle Shaft, Remove and Install" in group "E".
