Coolant Temperature Sensor, Remove and Install
Remove, Disconnect
Remove engine cover.
Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) from coolant temperature sensor.
Remove coolant temperature sensor (2) from thermostat housing - collect escaping coolant.
Install, Connect
Install coolant temperature sensor in thermostat housing - tightening torque 10 Nm / 7 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug to coolant temperature sensor.
Install engine cover.
Top up cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".
Remove, Disconnect 
Install, Connect
