16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ OHC Petrol Engines  

The 16 LZ2 engine is based on the familiar C 16 NZ2 from the Vectra-A/Cavalier, while the  
20 NEJ is derived from the 20 SE in the Omega-B. These OHC petrol engines are available in specific national versions, i.e. they are designed for low octane fuels. The engines are equipped with neither exhaust gas recirculation valves nor oxygen sensor control with catalytic converter - with the exception of the 20 NEJ, which has an exhaust gas recirculation valve installed but not electrically connected.
