•  Check fuse F11

Measure voltage  

 

 

•  Disconnect wiring harness plug (12 pin) from anti-theft warning system control unit & central door locking K94  

•  Measure voltage between wiring harness plug K94/terminal 9 and ground  
 
 
 

 
 
Greater than 11.5 V  

 

Yes:   E01  

No:   T03

Measure resistance  

 

 

•  Separate instrument panel wiring harness plug & body X1  

•  Measure resistance between wiring harness plug X1/terminal 78 (bushing) and fuse output F11  
 
 
 

 
 
Lower than 2 Ω  
 

 

Yes:   E04  

No:   E03

•  Anti-theft warning system control unit & central door locking K94 defective

•  Replace fuse F11, if no short circuit is present

•  Interruption in lead between instrument panel wiring harness plug & body X1/terminal 78 and fuse output F11  
 
 
 

E04  

•  Interruption in lead between instrument panel wiring harness plug & body X1/terminal 78 and anti-theft warning system control unit wiring harness plug & central door locking K94/terminal 9
