Nominal value

Measure resistance  

 

 

•  Disconnect wiring harness plug from anti-theft warning system control unit & central door locking K94 (28 pin)  

•  Open driver's door  

•  Measure resistance between wiring harness plug K94/terminal 15 and ground  
 
 
 

 
 
 
Lower than 2 Ω  
 

 

Yes:   T03  

No:   T02

Measure resistance  

 

 

•  Disconnect wiring harness plug from anti-theft warning system control unit & central door locking K94 (28 pin)  

•  Measure resistance between wiring harness plug K94/terminal 15 and driver's door contact switch (S16 LHD, S17 RHD) blue lead  
 
 
 

 
 
Lower than 2 Ω  
 

 

Yes:   T03  

No:   E01

Measure resistance  

 

 

•  Disconnect wiring harness plug from anti-theft warning system control unit & central door locking K94 (28 pin)  

•  Close driver's door  

•  Measure resistance between wiring harness plug K94/terminal 15 and ground  
 
 
 

 
 
 
Greater than 100 k Ω  
 

 

Yes:   E02  

No:   E03

•  Interruption in lead between anti-theft warning system control unit wiring harness plug & central door locking (28 pin) K94/terminal 15 and driver's door contact switch

•  Driver's door contact switch defective (locking contact no longer locks)

•  Anti-theft warning system control unit & central door locking K94 defective
