Turn Signal Lamp Actuation (with Hazard Warning Lamps)

Turn signal:

With and without trailer

Bulb failure check:

When a turn signal bulb fails, it flashes at double speed.

Hazard warning lamps:

Turn signal telltale:

The telltale is synchronised to the turn signal lamp. If a turn signal lamp should illuminate constantly due to, for example, a jammed relay contact, the telltale also illuminates constantly, even when the turn signal switch is not actuated.

Trailer turn signal telltale:

The trailer telltale is active when more than 2 turn signal units are connected on one side. When the hazard warning lamps are functioning and a trailer hitch is connected, the telltale flashes in synchronisation with the turn signal telltales.

Hazard warning lamps telltale (in switch)

The telltale is active (constantly illuminated) with ignition ON. With the hazard warning lamps ON, the telltale flashes in synchronisation with the turn signal lamps.

ATWS flashing:

If the ATWS flashing is active, there is no voltage at the relevant multitimer input. All turn signal lamps then follow the ATWS signal. ATWS flashing has priority over hazard warning lamps.

ATWS = Anti-theft Warning System
