Function, Activation and Deactivation of RDS Time
The RDS signal (transmitted every minute on the minute by RDS stations) only updates the time and not the date. When the radio is switched on (recognised via terminal AA) a data telegram with the time information is transferred. The time is set on reception of a useable RDS signal (time information must be included in RDS signal). The change between Winter and Summer time and the various European time zones are also taken into account. In countries without RDS signals, the function is deactivated by the preset country code.

When switching from hours to years, hold down mode button for longer than 2 seconds; "clock RDS" symbol flashes. Use the setting button to switch in the symbol and activate RDS time; time 1 appears. Use the setting button to switch off the symbol and deactivate RDS time; time 2 appears. |
