Open armrest lid -1- approx. 60 degrees.

Hold armrest lid -1- firmly.

^

Press armrest lid base -A- with right hand indirection of arrow (see figure) and with left hand rotate armrest lid top end -B- indirection of arrow until
lid has been released from armrest.

With armrest lid removed:

Remove remaining pieces of latch release mechanism.

Tip:

It may be necessary to turn armrest lid over and shake until broken pivot piece is visible in latch pivot opening (arrows), then remove remaining (broken)
pivot pieces with needle nosed pliers.
