Removing
CAUTION:
-
Do not install normal seat heater elements (for fabric seat covers) in vehicles with leather seat covers.

There is a danger the seat heater may overheat.

Remove seat.
-
Remove backrest.
-
Remove backrest cover.
-
Disconnect harness connector - 5 -.
-
Guide cable - 1 - through opening - 2 - in center part of cushion - 3 - and remove heating element - 4 -.
NOTE: With leather version 05.03 -->, heating element is integrated in backrest cover and can only replaced together with backrest cover.
Installing
-
Installation is the reverse order of removal.
