Apply silicone sealing bead as shown to the clean sealing surface of the oil pan. (illustration shows position of sealant bead on cylinder block).

Immediately install oil pan and lightly tighten all bolts.

Note:  The oil pan must be aligned Rush with the cylinder block.

Tighten oil pan bolts to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).

Tighten oil pan/transmission bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

After installing the oil pan, allow the sealant to dry for approximately 30 minutes before adding engine oil.

Assembly is the reverse of the disassembly sequence.
