Remove using pliers

Drive to stop with drift VW 460/2

Only drive out spring pin for engaging lever and spring pin for detent segment far enough to remove selector shaft.

CAUTION! 
Driving out pin from engaging lever further may cause it to drop into the planetary gears.

Driving in

Drive in spring pins until flush after inserting selector shaft, engaging lever and detent segment.

CAUTION! 
Be careful not to damage conductor strip with valve body installed.

Remove selector segment spring -A-.

^

Remove screw with washer -arrow-

Washer prevents selector shaft from moving.
