Make sure that the rollers do not slide off the triple-rotor star and fall off.

Hold axle shaft and triple rotor joint housing vertical and use other hand to slowly slide housing back.

-

Using felt tipped pen, mark installation position of rollers -1- to triple-rotor star -2-.

-

Remove rollers -1- and place on clean surface.

-

Remove circlip.
1. Pliers (commercial type)

Install axle shaft in press.

-

Hold axle shaft, then press triple-rotor star off axle shaft.

-

Pull joint together with triple-rotor joint boot off shaft.

-

Clean shaft and housing.

Assembling 

-

Slide small clamp for triple-rotor joint boot onto shaft.

-

Slide triple-rotor joint boot onto shaft.

-

Slide triple rotor joint housing onto shaft.

Assembling triple-rotor star 

The chamfer (arrow) on the triple-rotor star is to ease assemble. The star is installed in such a way that the chamfer faces toward the opposite end of
the axle shaft.
