Install triple-rotor star onto shaft as per markings and drive on up to stop.

Install circlip, make sure that it is seated correctly.

Install rollers onto triple-rotor star per markings.

-

Slide joint over rollers and hold.

-

Remove axle shaft from vise and re-clamp triple rotor joint housing in vise.

-

Install rectangular section seal (arrow) from repair kit into groove.

The rectangular section seal, seals the triple-rotor joint directly to the joint flange and it is therefore unnecessary to reinstall the cover.

Press 90 grams (3.2 oz.) of joint grease, from repair kit, into triple-rotor joint.

-

Press 90 grams (3.2 oz.) of joint grease, from repair kit, into reverse side of triple-rotor joint.

-

Install triple-rotor joint boot.

-

Install clamp.

-

Tighten small clamp using pliers VAG1275.
