Remove lower engine compartment cover (sound insulation).  See: Body and Frame/Sound Proofing / Insulation/Service and Repair/Procedures

Remove oil drain plug -1- and drain oil.

Loosen lower portion of filter housing -3- at the hex -2- or circumference -4- and remove.

-

Remove old air filter element.

-

Thoroughly wipe oil filter housing with a shop cloth.

Installing

-

Install new filter insert -2- and O-ring -3-.

-

Tighten lower part of filter -4- at hex head to 25 Nm.

-

Install drain plug -6- with new seal -5- and tighten to 10 Nm.

Installation is reverse of removal.
