Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - from throttle valve control module (J338).

Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the throttle valve control module.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Intake Manifold Overview ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and
Repair/Intake Manifold Overview.

Clean the O-ring sealing surface.

Replace the seal; when doing so, make sure the position indicator on the seal is in the correct position.

If a new throttle valve control module was installed, adapt the Engine Control Module (ECM) to it. Refer to "Guided Functions" in the vehicle
diagnostic tester.
