Shift Mechanism, Adjusting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Connecting Pin (T10027 A)

‹› The following points are essential to ensure correct shift adjustment:

‹› The shift mechanism operating and transfer elements must work properly.

‹› The shift mechanism must move freely.

‹› The transmission, clutch and clutch mechanism must be in proper working condition.

‹› Transmission in the neutral position.

Remove the air filter housing, if the locking pin - A - and the securing mechanisms for the shift and selector lever cables are not accessible through
it.

Pull the locking mechanisms on the shift and selector cable retainers forward as far as the stop in the - direction of arrow 1 - and then turn it
toward the left in the - direction of arrow 2 - to unlock it.
