Shift Knob, Boot and Noise Insulation

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (V.A.G 1275)

Removing

-

Pull the boot upward out of the center console frame or carefully pry out at the rear location - arrows -.

On some vehicles, you must pry the boot out at the front area.

-

Roll the boot up over the shift knob.

-

Open the clamp - arrow - and remove the shift knob and boot.

In some vehicles, the center console frame remains in the center console.

-

Carefully pull or pry out - arrow 1 - the center console frame.
