Air Injection Control Valve: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve, Checking

Procedure

Disconnect the secondary air hose - arrow - and connect the assisting hose to the hose leading to the secondary air combination valve.

Blow lightly into the assisting hose by mouth, do not use compressed air.

‹› Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combination valve must be closed, it must not be possible to flush.

Blow more strongly into assisting hose by mouth, do not use compressed air.

‹› The AIR combination valve must open, it must be possible to flush.

If the switch point cannot be detected, replace the AIR combination valve. Refer to => [ Combination Valve ] See: Service and Repair.
