Stronger Coil Springs, Retrofitting

Installing stronger coil springs at rear axle has the following effects:

The vehicle no longer springs in as much with the same net load and cargo.

Note:  The axle load noted in the vehicle papers does not increase due to retrofitting and may not be exceeded.

Possible increase in load capacity on vehicles with 800 kg load capacity to 1000 kg or 1200 kg load capacity or on vehicles with 1000 kg load
capacity to 1200 kg load capacity.

Note:  In this case the changed axle load must be noted in the vehicle papers. If necessary, the corresponding group number must be changed by hand
(see table) on the vehicle data plate.

WARNING:  Always observe allocation of pull-spring of brake pressure regulator to vehicle spring! Refer to Application and ID. 

If retrofitting to another brake pressure regulator spring, the brake pressure regulator must be adjusted afterward.
