Connect VW 1594/18 Test box to wiring harness for control module.

Check wiring between test box and 3-pin connector for open circuit according to wiring diagram.
Terminal 1 + socket 46
Terminal 2 + socket 35

Specification: max. 1.5 Ohms

Also check wiring for short circuit one against the other.
Terminal 3 + socket 35
Terminal 3 + socket 46
Terminal 2 + socket 46

Specification: Infinity Ohms

If you do not find a wiring malfunction:
