  • ‒ Temperature lever -B- fully to left.
  • ‒ Blower lever -C- fully to right.
  • ‒ Move air distribution lever -A- to following settings:

a -Vacuum system leaking
b -Vacuum distributor incorrectly adjusted

a -Check system

B - Checking temperature control

Checking cooling, ventilating and heating:

  • ‒ → Air distribution lever fully to left.
  • ‒ Blower lever fully right.
  • ‒ Move temperature lever to following settings:

Cooling:

  •      1 -     Circulated air
  •      2 -     Fresh air
  •      3 -     Ventilating
  •      4 -     Heating

No cooling with lever at

Renew => pages 87-37

No voltage at magnetic clutch because:

1

b-1 Fuse has blown (location: on left of evaporator)

b-1 Look for cause in diagram on => pages 87-75

and

b-2 Relay for evaporator blower motor J26 see diagram on =>pages 87-75

b-2 Check, renew if necessary

b-3 Air conditioner switch E30 and E35

b-3 Renew => pages 87-52

b-4 No continuity in temperature switch E33 (see diagram => pages 87-75 at room temperature)

b-4 Renew => pages 87-52

c

Magnetic clutch not working even though voltage is present at the clutch

Take vehicle to special workshop

Refrigerant circuit defective (the large hose on compressor is not cold)

Checking blower stages:

  • ‒ → Air distribution lever fully to left.
  • ‒ Move blower lever from fully left to fully right in cooling and heating settings.

Complaint

Blower motor does not run at all speeds

Multi-pin connector loose

Look for cause in diagram on =>pages 87-75

A/C cannot be switched off (move blower lever fully to left)

A/C switch (on blower lever)

a - Incorrectly adjusted

Evaporator blower does not work at

A/C switch (on blower lever)
