| When the ignition is switched on, the airbag warning lamp -K75- lights up for about 3 seconds and then goes out again. |
| If the airbag warning lamp -K75- does not go out again, then there is an open circuit in the voltage supply to the airbag control unit -J234-. Fault rectification → Chapter. |
| If there is a fault, the airbag warning lamp -K75- lights up again. |
| To commence fault finding, initiate self-diagnosis and retrieve the stored information with the fault reader -V.A.G 1551-. |
