| Removing |
| – | Removing rear lid trim. |
| – | Disconnect connector -3-. |
| – | Unclip actuator rod -1- and -2- on lock cylinder housing. |
Note| t | The lower mounting of the spring can be damaged in the following step. |
| t | The lock cylinder housing must be renewed if that occurs. |
| t | Therefore assembly must proceed with great care. |
| – | Use a screwdriver to lever off the securing clip -1-. |
| – | By turning the screwdriver, lift the securing clip -1- over the mounting for the lock cylinder housing. |
Note| For ease of illustration, lifting out the securing clip is shown in the magnifying glass without the lock cylinder housing. |
| – | Draw the lock cylinder housing out of the handle and lid towards the rear. |
